Dawn Graham, RDH, has been treating patients in our practice since 1993. In eighteen years, she has developed a close personal and professional relationship with many of them. She graduated from Loma Linda University with her degree in dental hygiene and she has become a partner in your long-term dental health. Dawn has a gentle touch and is an advocate for the use of ultrasonic instrumentation for painless but thorough cleaning. In her free time, Dawn and her husband Gary enjoy travel, yoga and the beach.

 

Erica Kan, RDH, joined our practice in 2004. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s dental hygiene program. Erica is a great communicator and can teach you how best to achieve dental health. Together with Dawn and Dr. Walsh-Cole, they have created a thorough diagnostic and treatment protocol for treating gingivitis and periodontal disease. Erica and her husband Miles welcomed a new daughter into their lives in April 2011. Erica is an avid runner ad is working on her black belt in karate.

 

Shelly Marko-Scrivner, RDA, moved to southern California from Iowa and attended dental assisting school in San Diego. She is licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant which gives her the ability to utilize her outstanding skills to help Dr. Walsh-Cole provide exceptional dentistry to our patients. She joined our team in 1999 and has attended hundreds of hours of continuing education with Dr. Walsh-Cole. Shelly and her husband Dave have two boys, Tobin and Owen.

 

 

 

Kelsey Raider is the Front Office Manager. She is responsible for arranging your appointments, handling your insurance questions and making sure all your dental needs are met. Kelsey worked here for a short time while in high school and rejoined our practice after graduation from U.C. Santa Barbara with her degree in Biopsychology. She and her husband Scott live in Encinitas with their dog Henry and their cat, Evie.
